There is a new donut shop at white sands.
Of course, my first reaction was to think, 'oh new DONUT shop. A must see.' Happily I went to see and stared at the donuts for about two plus plus minutes before I came to a decision. The price was quite steep so I took that long to consider. I ended up choosing the chocolate shippy and choco almond donut. I bought 2.
Then I felt so damn excited after buying it and on the way home in my Dad's car, I took a few bites out of each donut. After that, I stopped for awhile and felt bored. Ironically, I always thought chocolate can make people happier. And there I was eating chocolate but I felt no difference. In fact, the excitement had died off. Now I know what lies behind the donut craze. Even if the donuts are in pink, blue, green or whatever coloured cream flavour with nuts or coloured sugar ontop, people will want to buy them. It gives us this good feeling.The good feeling is when you curl your fingers up on the vinco donut, or maybe yum yummy donut's plastic bag with the donuts inside.
So therefore, it is not the donuts I am really after. It is that damn dough satisfaction.
I was going along with a dough and cream and nuts craze.
This statement does not mean I am never going to buy donuts again.
I know very well I will.
